What's everyone's issue with Kalista?

Her win rate at Plat+ is only ~48-50%. No different to most champions in the game. As someone who has played her a number of times she doesn't feel that strong unless she gets going early - as is the case with any other AD Carry in the game. Even playing against her isn't all that frustrating with the likes of Vi, Malphite, Wukong, Ahri, Katarina (the list goes on), which are all popular and strong right now, that can effectively deal with Kalista in most situations.

In fact, most of the time if Kalista gets through Bans in Solo Q I hope someone from the other team picks her because every one I've had either lost lane hard or (at least almost) threw the game. Considering there's no lane swap meta in Solo Q, Kalista has a pretty rough time against the likes of Graves and Corki in lane and during the mid game. I'd even go so far as to say that she's only really effective in premade teams or under the same kind of circumstances that a Vayne might become a monster.

It's not even about the winrates. It's that she's no fun to play against with that passive. I own kalista and even her only skin... she looked fun, but after playing against her a handful of times... I don't want to play that. She's unhealthy and overloaded.

She'll be way cooler when she gets toned down and the people who WANT to play her make her look good. Just think about how awesome the rest of her kit is and how she's already strong if all of that is made the most out of!

She already has a unique dash with her Q. The passive just isn't needed and is grotesquely unbalanced, unfun to play against and almost completely invalidates another adc's skill with stutterstepping along with making it impossible for even moderately mobile champs to keep up.

And then there's what happened to me. We were winning lane but Supp AFKed early game and because of that we lost the entire match because my W passive was now useless and so was my ult.

Its not her damage I find OP, its her damn passive.

Its so infuriating to play against.

Once she gets a bunch of attack speed, she's able to kite almost everyone, except the OTHER extremely mobile champions.

Not to mention once she gets Red Buff and Runaans, she'll proc her spear stacks on all targets hit and be able to slow the entire team, making it even harder to catch her unless you have a point and click ult like Malzahar and Vi.

Sadly, she can kite ADCs as well, including Lucian and Graves because she gets so much free mobility. And she is supposed to be countered by range.

Then either a) play lane bullies (Leona/Annie/Sona + Graves comes to mind here) or b) counter-engage champions (or one and the same).

a) She's very vulnerable in the early game - take advantage of the fact that she CANNOT cancel Auto-Attacks. b) Her passive is far less effective when moving forward so if you wait for her to engage on you she isn't moving as far as fast as she would be if you were to engage on her.

Dont worry she will get stronger as Riot destroys all the point and click champions

If Riot, however, does decide to give Kalista some nerfs it needs to be something along the lines of (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/6laAtXpT-riot-will-have-to-nerf-kalista-pretty-creatively-imo) this.

I'd actually like to see the interactivity between Hurricane and Rend reduced/removed and perhaps the CD reduced to offset that and make her more of a Trinity Force user. I really don't like building as much Attack Speed on champions as Kalista's Passive 'forces' you to with the Hurricane + BotRK + Greaves build (Greaves, BotRK, Hurricane, LW, BT, GA/BV).

To me her real OP part is her ability to infintely stack on objectives. While it is true that this does force the enemy team to innitiate early, a team that is behind has no real chance to steal, which imo isn't "fair" or "balanced". The stacking is a nice mechanic, but if her team is ahead, there isn't much reason to try and engage on her team.

As far as people complaining about her, I feel a lot of it has to do with the fact that she is a highly mobile champion. With mobile champions, people who aren't good can easily be punished for mistakes they make. Kalista is VERY strong at this, which is why they come on forums and rage/cry/rant mainly because they got outplayed imo, though they don't really use those words.
