I'm honestly glad. Same with (bruiser) Yi and Lux in general. Overrated and too strong champs under normal circumstances (and even in out-liar circumstances). My bans have gone from Lux to Naut to Yi, but now I'm just gonna ban Shyv until the patch hits. Ridiculous damage. Shoulda kept the clearing hit too. Practically 2hits me with Titanic midgame as an adc.

As much as I've used this on Xin as my choice jungler (while I don't jungle anymore), it's too stupid to face and even have on your team. Stack fest and at they both become super assassins that never die at the end of it...

When I said Tiamat, I meant Titanic...gonna edit sorry.
Lux' shield got buffed on allies more-so. On herself, and especially laning phase where she maxes it last (normally), it's taking a respectable hit to its base and AP scaling. I don't wanna have to do math to prove my point (or make myself wrong?) on the numbers.

This is midgame where I have about 1300 or more hp and she's nearly deleting me in just a few hits? You don't find that ridiculous? And her ganks will be weaker due to Q being weaker, along with a somewhat weaker clear for that same reason (but E is her main clear tool anyway).

It's her largest power spike and the rest of the game depends on how ahead she can get with it, and from the Shyvana's perspective hopefully end the game before others can catch up.
Again, nerfs deserved but we are talking about a champion's strengths that riot tries to keep in tact when nerfing champions. So I have bad news for you, because she will still destroy you (as a squishy adc) if she reaches you post 6.6.

Fair enough, but she'll naturally take longer or even not even get there because of her earlier damage being weaker as well as her main item being nerfed. We'll also probably be seeing her less which means yay, less chance of her catching up to me and doing as you said.

That being said, I'm upset about the changes because it signals to me that they're totally giving up on top shyv, after she's fallen through the cracks with every top lane itemization change/meta shift

There is no counterplay when she has the movement speed of white boots (forgot name) and her E, along with dragon form if you either manage to get away or she starts to get low so she just gets the fuck out. And if she taps you just once, especially with a Titanic proc, there goes at least 500 of your hp cause of her %hp stuff.
