One streamer is enough to take down LoL's viewership on twitch.
I hope u realised how fragile your game is, Riot. And you're not doing enough about it.

That doesnt mean League is fragile. Only that PUBG is fun to watch. Also it doesnt say League viewership went down . And its not just 1 streamer. Its shooter game and it atracts a lot of people from that genre. So if u have CSGO, Cod, OW and all those fps game play and stream PUBG their collective viewership will go up. Has nothing to do with LOL. LOL is MOBA and as such it has different playerbase and viewers.

This is also a fairly new game gaining a lot of attention at the moment, LoL on the other hand is getting close to being a decade old. Not many games have been able to stay as big as League for an extended period, however quite a few have had a lot of success but then basically go away after a year or two as that's when the bad decisions come in, and BHS is well known for making a mess of things later on; unless of course they learned their lesson.
This reminds me of when people said Overwatch was going to overtake League just because it had way more viewers at launch Look at it now League is eternal
LoL still has over 10x as many players as the next biggest PC games, I don't think they need to worry.
PubG is the in game right now. The fact League viewing figures (which is only Twitch and doesn't include the thousands that way on youtube) are still so high is really impressive. I mean what did League have last week? A LCS promotion tournament and the standard streamers while there not only a Dota2 Tournament but a CoD one too last week too?
Also there seems to be a pattern with streamers. They made their name in other games like CoD, League or whatever, that is what they are known for but currently half of them are playing PubG as well, so a streamer who plays League and PubG and a streamer who plays CoD and PubG, if half their time they are playing PubG they'll boost those numbers.
Plus competition is good.
Dota has a big tournament -> MOBA people who watch both League and Dota switch to Dota.
No big shooter tournament -> shooter people flock to the new hot stuff that is PU.
This is just Overwatch all over again only that LoL shares no similiarities with PU and will probably lose not many players/viewers to it in the long run.
