This Jax build should be the go to build on jax

so earlier someone made a post asking for advice on jax builds here and i realized how good these three items are on jax: the rest varies. but those three items should be core on jax jungle. bortk is designed if enemy team has a lot of hp champs which isnt always the case this would be the perfect plan b route when up against say a riven top and rengar jungle. except rageblade doesnt stand up to the competition. the suggestion i made below would help fix that.

anyone else would like to see this build be more commonplace on jax. certainly not get a response like what is this jax building?

thats why i wrote should. Given his kit these item complement/synergize most with it.

BOTRK + Trinity Force to tank or just Tri Force to tank (Randuin and so on) is the go to. If you really need damage add on Hydra.

Normally just Tri + Tank is enough for Jax.

I stomped hard with Jax jungle last night. I went rangers > sheen > trinity force > hp rangers thingy > tabi > maw > chainvest going towards GA. I can't say if it's worth playing often, but at least that one game (and it was a fairly even game early) it worked.

trick2g played him a lot recently as well with great success. ive seen other streamers to play him like vman. a lot feel like he belongs/shines there.

@KnifeLion that seems like good build i should try it. i guess with his counterstrike and rangers he doesnt need sustain. maybe 1 doran blade mid game?

The problem with jax is that he is not very sticky for a bruiser. To mitigate that you build botrk. It is not really to take down tanky people or anything like that. Botrk just happens to be able to also take on tanks. Going a bit back gunblade was the go to item on jax but then botrk came and had a better active for sticking to people.

hence the stalkers blade slow active. you can then get randuins if you need more sticking power. the cdr also helps him stick as well.

I doubt it is enough. Honestly jax just wants as much as he can get.
