Do maokais saplings damage on impact again?

I really miss that on the current one since it makes his farming (especially in hard matchups) a lot harder.

I dont think so. They are buffing the explosion damage so I think they will keep the landing damage off the saplings.

To bad. Always found it to be a pretty fair skillshot and the landing damage was mostly there for lasthitting then for anything else since it was so low.

they took it away saying it made him to safe for farming in lane vs bad match ups and that he couldnt really be punished for having a bad match up.

now with the rework the took the %hp damage on W and put it on E ... made his saplings do more damage but not on impact/splash and they do bonus dot damage if it hits an enemy if it was placed in a bush ( also last longer)

they fuked his ult and made it a travesty. they ruined his damage on his W and then made he is E worst by removing the impact damage ( and with the % hp damage on ) making is over all damage go down again. because we all know his E is unreliable for damage. now im all for it if they wanna make his E targetable. but on top of all this they change how his passive works too , it now has a cooldown but still charges based on spells casted ( go figure )

The last nerfes really butchered him. Taking away his q damage early turning every matchup into a bad matchup and at the same time gutting his e so he couldlnt farm from range anymore. Still i was fine with it because upcomming update they would have to reitterate all his numbers again anyway but now.... I dont think his new ult is such a bad thing perse and i can think of some cool ways to make it work but without his old ult he will have to have somewhat of a decent laningphase to get some items to get tanky and with what i have seen sofar balanceteam is going to have a lot of work.
