In the past 2 years, as well as 20 champions added to the Game there has been one dedicated jungler.

I dont count ekko since he was very much so intended for midlane and has seen most of his play in top.

Zac was 21 champions ago

so that leaves kindred and sorta graves, rumble and aerelion sol.

Edit* Yes and reksai My bad

All of these are not so conventional engagement heavy junglers

I had no idea people jungled with A.Sol. I don't think I've ever seen him in the jg before. Hell, I rarely see him at all. But I guess I could see how he could jg. he just wouldn't be good at ganking cuz people would see him coming. The only good ganks he might get is if he used his e.

I saw him for the first time last night, actually. Wasn't impressed.

It's pretty near impossible for Aurelion Sol to jungle. However, he's excellent mid if you know what you're doing. I've been stomped and still come back effortlessly. (Honestly, if you can farm with Aurelion, then you can win with Aurelion.)

Higher winrate in jungle than in lane btw

If you say so.

Thats due to melee assasins like Ekko, Katarina, or Zed, if hes played against almost any mage hes guaranteed a win

I meant I saw him jungle for the first time last night; I've seen him mid several times.

Ah, good. Yes; don't jungle with Aurelion.

As long as you can position well with Aurelion.

The fuck? Did you not see the unholy release of Rek'sai? A champion designed to do nothing else but jungle?

There's been two "dedicated" supports since 2014.

Rek'Sai is sad.

And why are you bringing up Rumble?

CrimsonCobra31 votes

Rumble is a decent jungler. He's just not necessarily intended for it.

I know. But Rumble is also 5.5 years old and has not had a major gameplay rework (biggest was E change to ammo system...which was not a huge difference). Why is the OP talking about Rumble?

he got ful damage to monsters on flamespitter? thats a major change

Ah. I suppose you could say so.

I think he got confused and didn't check. I just checked to be sure, and Rumble was released two years prior to Zac. I'm wondering if Rumble is one of his main junglers, and he included him out of habit...

yes but rumble got the BUFF post zac which turned him into a jungler

Graves wasn't really intended to be a jungler, but with the changes they brought when they introduced Kindred, it became a thing (much like the Ekko effect).

Also, just a stab in the dark here, but I feel pretty confident that Ivern will be a jungler.

Graves is unfortunately a dedicated jungler and top lane ATM. VS a support, his reload and AA mechanics are too wonky and he is punished too hard for "CSing".
