Why is giving random assassins and bruisers jungle power a higher priority than fixing Udyr?
What is even going on here?
Udyr has been in a terrible state for a long time, with this season being the nail in the coffin, and he hasn't received any compensation to bring him back up to par. The champion has a kit from 2009. It straight up does not work against the amount of mobility in the game.
The S10 jungle changes gutted his only strong point, that being his early game. His baseline is now so weak that 90% of the top roster at level 6 can literally 100 to 0 him without being fed, while middle and bottom are normally too mobile for him to connect with. He has no ability to impact any lanes, leaving him to play a PvE game where he runs around the jungle, avoids all interaction with enemy champions, and hopes his team can carry him with dragon buffs.
The champion is not viable. His kit needs to be brought up to 2020 standards. Give him an ultimate, fix his mobility problems, or provide him with scaling survivability to allow him to actually function as more than a bargain bin juggernaut.
I feel like fixing champions who are intended to be played in the jungle is a better option than buffing random champions.
