How do you deal with CoC Riven?

It's impossible to trade with her 2 huge shields and she can trade whenever she wants without taking any damage.

Riven isnt the best user of CoC, shit like poppy with CoC cant be damaged in trades while having % hp damage, its hilariously broken.

You've come to the wrong place for advice OP.

On these boards you get legit bronze players like this trying to tell you to disengage a Riven somehow lol. Then they tell you to watch Riven not get anything done like CoC isn't first out broken on champs like Riven. She can drop her full combo on you under tower and not take a single bit of damage from 2 turret shots

CoC isn't going to matter much if you don't have to kill the one using it.

Riven actually doesn't perform that well when she isn't building enough damage. CoC comes at a price. Defensive build riven kills too slowly. CoC with an offensive build is going to leave her gimped compared to normal.

Who gives a fuck if she can ignore 2 tower shots. the real question is how many shots her tower can take before she can get out away from it. CoC also means she's probably running less penetration and isn't getting free cooldowns. It also means less damage multipliers. Its just like how tank ekko worked. He was hard to kill and could get away but he couldn't actually kill you that quickly. Sure you couldn't beat him 1v1 but he wasn't actually that big an issue in late teamfights, especially if nobody fed.

You don't trade with her then. If you're going to deal damage to her make it a real fight, not just a trade.

Odds are, if you pick the right champion, she won't be interested in that real fight until 6. Then you just play around her ult cooldown.

Fight her during the 30 second cooldown or bait our her gapclosers. It's not that hard, she has to blow all her gapclosers to get on you with any kind of speed if you are keeping proper spacing, and if you anticipate it or bait it out she can be made to miss and spend about 12 seconds without her tools.

Same as always, you need to actually interact with her instead of just walking up and pushing your buttons like a lazy fuck.
