And give her nothing in return.

Meanwhile Talon Rengar Khazix have been rampaging for months, zero changes.

Yea, I think it's pretty disgusting that LeBlanc got such a gigantic nerf (as overtuned as she was, idiotic that she could miss her W and her E, and still kill someone with Q-R-Ignite or R-Q-Ignite [attempted combo of W-R-E-Q or W-E-Q-R] [this is not a fed LeBlanc, this is even a 0 kill LeBlanc]).

She needed some tweaks, I agree with that entirely as someone who's sick of getting 100-0'd when I dodge half her kit and am even with her. At the same time though, there have been bigger fish to fry (Jayce Khazix Rengar Poppy Ivern Shaco Varus etc....) and they all get much smaller nerfs (when they finally get them) and some get compensation.

Really big favoritism showing.

I don't do ranked. so far I am the only one I have seen who has used ivern,i don't see any poppy players and I have only seen Jayce once, and he didn't do much. so I cant get a very nice view of the OP stuff, ivern has good jungle clear but the mana/HP use is a pain early and he still gets near the CS of regular junglers, just by different means poppy....she can stop dashes. Jayce is....movement speed I guess.

Jayce just has a ridiculous early game because his combos do so much damage. Ivern is just so hard to deal with because of his shield. His shield and Daisy protects the AD carry so much from skillshots and all that jackshit. Poppy is just one of the supertanks (Poppy, Nautilus, Maokai).

Note the tense "there have been" as in some of the examples were in the past.

It's pretty hard to deny that Jayce wasn't quite oppressive earlier this season. His hammer form nerfs in 7.3 seem to have brought him somewhat in line, but he's still strong (he still sees pro play). Which isn't to say it wasn't fine - just that pre 7.3 Jayce was as big of a problem as LeBlanc is now and yet they went really careful with a small nerf to him (that left him strong in pro play) with the approach that they'd rather not over-do it and could apply more later if needed.

Ivern was likewise nerfed in 7.3 and remains in a strong state where he's a frequent pick in pro play. Again, the nerf was appropriate and well-done, but he was pick or ban prior to that and rather than over-do it, they went with a small targeted nerf (to Daisy) rather than overdoing it (equivalent to LB nerf would be halving the power of his shield, for example). Again, they took the approach that they could always go farther on the next patch if they had to.

Poppy was nerfed in 7.1 and again saw very small nerfs. She was pick or ban, insanely strong in both competitive play and solo queue. The nerfs left her as very strong where she's still a frequent pick or ban in pro play and still very meta in solo queue. I'm particularly salty about Poppy mostly out of personal bias (she's been my ban ever since her rework - she gimps my preferred top laners entirely with her new W).

Basically, in all 3 cases Riot didn't go very far, despite all 3 of those champions being both pick or ban in pro play, and being very strong picks in solo queue. Meanwhile, LeBlanc is pick or ban in pro play, but just a nuisance in solo queue (sort of like Ryze, where she's pretty feast or famine in solo queue). So I'd argue all 3 of those champions were more in need of large nerfs than LeBlanc. All 3 could have handled much larger nerfs and still been viable (just not picks in >50% of pro games...) but Riot likes them so they only see nudges in the direction so they're careful to not be removed from the meta. Meanwhile LeBlanc's nerfs seem gigantic (again, I think she really does need nerfs but I think this is gutting her).

Which isn't to say LeBlanc isn't experiencing what has happened before... as someone who enjoys Gnar I'm frustrated with how weak he has been for more than a full season now. There are others who have been similarly over-nerfed (e.g. Sejuani). It just seems so inconsistent - why is it when Sejuani (or in this case LeBlanc) becomes pick or ban in the pro scene Riot has to gut them so they won't be viable for a whole season, but when Jayce or Poppy or Lee Sin are pick-ban Riot does nothing for 7 patches then gives a small nudge to make sure they're still tier 1 just not tier S anymore (until a new item or meta shift brings them back up).

A problem champion doesn't justify the existence of another.

you mean since 7.2 right because Talon definitely wasnt rampaging before the lethality buffs.

Dude WTF?!?! Rengar is being nerfed 5 times in a raw. 10% less ad bonus on passive Passive change from total ad to bonus(this is huge) Base damage of q and emp q lowered Immunity to cc removed Duration of r reduced at all ranks Q dash reduced Heal of w reduce to 75% from monster Base armor reduce of 4 ( he can just clear 3 camps now at first clear) Next time check the patch notes instead just crying for rengar

Fuck Leblanc. I'm glad they're gutting her. At least Talon, Rengar and Khazix can be outplayed and they can't apply that insane damage from all the way across the lane. At least when they fuck up, you can catch and kill them.

Those champs are affected by lethality changes, some of which aren't out yet
