Camille is much more compelling as a crit assassin than a tanky DPS
based on a few games, ignoring balance or whatever turns out to be better, Camille was much more exciting as a crit carry/assassin than she was as a Triforce bruiser. It feels like the way she was meant to be enjoyed, but they changed her kit to suit a diving fighter midway through development. Her ult really doesn't create anything in the way of interesting gameplay; even as a tanky fighter, it feels very out of place.
Her Q scales up to turn 100% of the second part into true damage; this includes critical strikes. It feels very nice to hit hard for entirely true damage; and I think a crit build can actually forgo armor pen entirely because of the incredibly low cooldown on her true damage. Since she gets bonus damage on top of that, she can hit for well over 1000-- all as true damage.
If you're on PBE then give it a try. It's much more enjoyable than another Triforce fighter to throw onto the pile.
