Why can a lux ultimate do 53% of my HP with out a single full item?

It is pretty absurd. 800 damage when she has a i think lost chapter and the codex.

she can do 800dmg without an item if you got negative 50 mr or something. champ is annoying as shit but please 800dmg from her ult alone? even if it triggers the passive it wont do more than 400dmg. and i doubt a Lux will have only a chapter lvl 11 or 16.

I think that they aren't remembering that lux ult will also proc the passive which adds 70+20% ap so like 375 + ~100% ap ignoring masteries like 2% extra ability damage and stuff. Still a bit of a stretch that is for sure.

The laser is actually a disguise. The real reason why it hurts so much is because underneath the harmlessly cover of the light, 6 Needlessly Large Rods are being shoved into your butt all at the same time.

Assuming she has no completed item yet, her ulti is still level 1, to which point she deals 300 + 75% AP damage. Since she doesn't have a full item, I'll also assume she has a maximum of 100 AP, due to runes, and maybe a Large Rod, which would add 75 damage, for a total of 375 magic damage. Add maybe some damage modification through masteries and then reducing it due to your MR, let's assume you get hit my a maximum of 350 damage. If you have more than 700 HP (which you should based on HP scaling at level 6), then she can't do 53% of your HP.

Now, if she also applied her passive, she would deal an extra 100 damage, maximum, for a total of 450 damage. That's the only way she could deal such % HP damage to you, which is pretty ok, considering you either got hit by her Q or E to get the passive on, and then her ultimate + thunderlords. She unleashed pretty much everything on you and only took away hlf your health.

I don't understand how she dealt 800 damage.
