The solution to AD dominating mid lane right now is to gut Warlord's

Please do this before the next patch. The movement speed and heal are the majority of the problem, and makes it insanely hard for AP champions to trade unless it's something like Annie with unavoidable damage.

They basically get up in your face, auto you for 30% of your health, and then sidestep/retreat from your skill shot at 500 MS, with their inherently superior mobility and the added benefit of a nice little heal, and potentially follow up with an all-in that you can't retaliate against because they just dodged what is likely a very important part of your kit. There's no need for this.

Idk, azir isnt played in pro at all while lucian is still picked or banned every third game

i find it kinda stupid how item 3153 item 3071 works so well vs squishies when both items are supposed to let you shred tanks xd

lucian mid is a situational pick that can't work in every game, in pro they build team comp in soloq, you will end up with a full ad team and lose

which is why it has 43% win rate in soloq while in pro it's strong

and being picked/banned in every third game doesn't mean it's op

i also see it a lot in high elo/streams and my own games and he like always wins, same for ryze. what do you need in your comp to make lucian mid work? he just rushes tank shredding items and bullies god tier mages like ori and taliyah hehe

true i guess, but it doesnt really require lcs-level coordination to not pick full ad with an ad mid. then theres also Corki mid, lucian doesnt even go warlords, so ye.

Umm you can't get very far in 0.75 seconds.

And unless you're specifically talking about Yasuo with warlord's that's a whole different story from traditional AD mids when it comes to unfair trades.

If it takes 1 second for a skill shot to reach you, that's plenty of time to sidestep it.

that wouldnt solve anything.

they will just take SRS and nuke u even harder with the extra flat mixed pen from the mastery tree.

for the sustain they will just buy another item 1055 or rush a item 1053 or even take lifesteal quints.

the problem is with their reliable 1:1 scaling autos on top of their skill sets, and crits whenever they get it.

aside from drastic changes like making autos skillshots or introducing heavy turn rates, maybe drastically lower their base attack speed ( most ADCs with attack speed reds and 4% from masteries can auto nearly once every 1.2 sec ) and increase their attack delays ( i am talking values even worse than those of Caitlyn without her passive ) and drastically increase attack speed granted by items to compensate those looking for DPS while removing crit from said items and replace it with something else that help DPS and not sustained burst.
