League is not fun to play or to watch in its current state.

I can only stomach a game or two a day because they all go the same. Matches are just so lopsided its not even fun to play. Its either smash or get smashed within the first 10 minutes then just ride out that early game power and gold spike.

I grinded out a 70% winrate on varus full lethality and I can tell you over those games the ones I won there were only a few that were actually tough to win while the rest were just pure stomps. The ones I lost it didn't matter how I played because enemy team was just so far ahead that at a certain point you could never fight them again. Or you have one player that can not stop dying. To many games this season where people are in double digit deaths. Or just continue to fight when they should realize they cant kill or even win it. They fight over nothing but the sake of fighting costing everything for there whole team. This what I experience daily. One team takes a lead and the other team can not match damage. They then lose every objective and cant contest "late game" objectives do to being forced into base by the minions. Contesting dragons while at a huge deficit is impossible and just adds to the snowballs.

People have not yet figured out that rift herald is the key to a win in league because of the gold it grants and map pressure it creates. Look at every lcs game all they do is play for gold and early lead that they snowball with swapping adc and top at 8 minutes. Even in lcs perfect example was the liquid vs fly quest game. Liquid took an early lead and just were so far ahead gold wise that double lift could just stat check there whole team. You see this in solo duo as well where one person messes up and the game is over like the Viper mordekaiser play onto double lift. That one bad play is what sealed the deal.

Don't play then. There's a ton of other games.

The game is too snowbally for sure. Its been that way for years, and just gets worse and worse every season. Its actually their design decision. I understand their goal is to lower average game times; but the way league works that means most games are basically over 10 minutes into the game. It may take another 15-20 before you lose, but you have already lost at 10 minutes. The rest of the time is just a formality in frustration. The only wrench thrown in there is the new elder, if you manage to live to that and steal it, you can turn the game around. Outside of that, its basically oh were down at 10 minutes, should just go next but lets play this out for another 15 anyways and just be stat padders for the enemy team.

For an competitive Esport, games really do feel defined extremely early. Little comeback potential in these games. I know people are gonna say, "I win X all the time!" Thats anecdotal. If we get numbers on the amount of games lost when behind at 20, I know its heavily skewed in favor of the team with the gold lead. Just look at stats on league of graphs:

First Blood: 61% First Tower: 72% FIrst Rift: 63% First Dragon: 64% First Inhib: 92%

If you get first blood and first tower, you probably already won that game. Inhib its basically a formality at that point.

I enjoy watching and playing the game so... I'll have to disagree. If you aren't enjoying it then take a break and play something else
