Seasons 1 and 2 were better balance-wise, and they were both a clusterfuck where hardly any Rioter knew what they were doing with confidence.

Seriously Riot has no idea how much they just buffed her for him by giving her better AP scaling. Faker is the best Cassio player in the world and can still easily crush any lane with her despite her base damage reductions.

i hate trist as much as anyone else. but to be fair, rakans engages are telegraphed. you can hardly say they have 0 counterplay.
unless i missed some flash bullfuckery with one of his abilities, like gragas flash body slam engages, or shens flash e engages.
Sir Fuzzi1 votesNeither did anyone playing the game. Now that it's firmly established that one goes JG, you almost never see 2 top. Back in my day in norms, JG was the rare one; almost constantly there were people doing two top. That was also way back in S3, though.
The problem is there's too much to balance and they're not doing nearly enough pruning. All this 'variety' in the item system is just serving to poison everything else they do. Physical champions won't be able to be released the same until Death's Dance is just plain fucking gone off the face of the game.
