To me, a tryhard is that jerk who hard carries a game so much that they barely even let their team participate. Like...if you're that far ahead, at least be a little more cautious, especially since you made sure you were the only one to get fed. Obviously, this is mostly an issue with snowbally high damage assassins and bruisers that roam a lot.

someone who chooses to put winning over the experience of having fun. People complain about it because they feel people who are tryhards dont care about fun so it is inherently an insult to those who just like having fun. tryhards are considered to rage frequently but that is not necessarily true.

It's mainly salty assassins that can't dodge for crap and expected a free win because "lolcounterpick". They start yelling tryhard around the third solo kill.
