Plat is just as bad as everyone says
So I ended season 6 at Gold 5 with ~gold 2 MMR and I decided to do my pre-season placements. Well everyone knows how wonky the matchmaking has been so far and I ended up in this game:
So there is me, at gold 5, and everyone else in the game is Plat+. I mean I did pretty well and we won, but holy hell the level of toxicity was fucking insane.
Game starts yada yada enemy bot lane dies. Immediately their ADC starts full blown raging in all chat "Report Morde fucking useless" and Morde "I didnt fucking get you killed" blah blah. So being the jungler that I am, I set up my tent bot lane to turn the tilt factor up a bit :^). Gank and kill the support. Enemy ADC absolutely FUMING in all-chat "fucking useless ass support" etc etc. Their jungler chimes in "report both of them for feeding" then their ADC "Fuck you you didnt have to lane with this useless support" etc etc. Enemy support starts intentionally feeding at this point lol. They literally just flame each other non-stop for the rest of the match "Report this one!" "No! Report this one!" "Fuck them all!". Game ends and they flame each other for a good 5 minutes in the post game lobby and leave.
Holy hell I haven't seen that level of toxicity in a long time. I don't even want to make it to plat this season after that. People in Gold are chill. Fuck having to play with these Plat players. I feel bad for you poor Plat SoB's. Fuck that, I'm out.
