This mechanic is quite literally just free gold for the winner of the lane, unless it's a completely even game until 14 minutes, which virtually never happens.
Zero thought was put into this change and it shows.

That's cool if you're playing in shit elo, but in higher games, the winner of each lane is decided at champion select. With these changes, they get too much free gold, which doesn't allow you take advantage of champions whose strengths aren't in laning.

I guess you're right I was low plat plat 5 so climbing to diamond would be much easier though when u dominate the lane.
