Why is Blackthorne Morgana being made an accompanied splash art?

Blackthorne Morgana is Morgana's only "Legendary skin" Yet it's now sharing a Splash art with Kayle? Why?

Sinful Succulence was an opportunity to fix an awful looking skin, but the new splash is also underwhelming.(Looks like a character from Spawn, rather than a gothy baker)

Bewitching/Lunar Wraith they just copped out on.

(I will miss my Victorious Morgana)

Is it just me, or did they all in for Kayle, but only give Morgana Legs and butt-wings (I don't mind the buttwings, but it's underwhelming in comparison to Kayle's new passive, massive zoning potential, and the fact that almost every single Kayle splash was reworked....)

Ever rolled it in Hextech Chests? It's her only skin that has a Red Ruby assigned to it.

It's not really a Legendary, in my opinion, but NONE of her skins particularly have that flair.

It's from the days before Riot considered special lines for Legendary skins. Kind of like Gentleman Cho Gath

the skin cost 1350 rp. they put the Legendary on it just cuz she's old and didnt have one. just like Annie in Wonderland. but they did change it to 1850 on annies case

Annie in wonderland has always been a 1820 skin. Sure doesn't deserve it, just like magna TF Brolaf and corpomundo and icetobocorko. But they were 1820 from the beginning

It's... not even legendary... Its and Epic skin (1350RP).

I don't see why people are complaining about the combined splash anyway, I personally think it's cool.

It doesn't though.

The only non-1820 skins that are legendary and have that ruby are Primetime Draven and Surprise party fiddle, both priced at 975, both with the red ruby in hextech and skin collection tab

Blackthorne morgana has the triangular blue gem that looks like a saphire indicating it's Epic nature. You may have it confused with some other skin

even then, the skins are updated to be 1850. the morgana one isnt
