Jesus Christ look at all of those Assassins being P/B in Competitive
Mages are nowhere to be found in any of the games. Clearly they need buffs and Assassins should be nerfed.

I'm a mage main so I know mages are bad right now and never picked. They are useless and unviable especially for pro play and the statistics are wrong. Now if you will excuse me I must go post my daily nerf leblanc thread and tell people that I shouldnt have to buy zhonyas or QSS against zed because that's imbalanced but if I want to not get bursted by mages then buy zhonyas or QSS and stop being stupid. We all know that we have to rush a zhonyas against him. What we don't like is that against Talon and Zed, we're forced to pretty much run on 2 dorans rings (and maybe blue if the jungler is feeling generous) while we rush a Zhonyas so we won't insta die in lane.
This leaves mages against Talon and Zed in a precarious situation. Can't use spells to clear waves because the mana regen isn't there but Zed can clear waves like nothing and roam and we're trying to just keep the waves off the tower with out hampered mana regen.

It's not hard to clear waves unless you waste mana when you shouldn't be which I'm sure you do. You know what actually kills you in lane? Staying with low HP and poor positioning. These guys arent just diving you under turret and killing you. It's not even hard to clear waves on mages after you get a bit of AP because a spell or two and ranged autos are effective as hell. If zed is blowing his CDS to clear minions then you can easily just harass him for it or clear them as well. Mana isnt even an issue for mages outside of the first few levels.

Or you know you, you can use the counter play zed has without items and beat him in lane? Or is that too hard for you mage mains?
