Ok, can we make the doran's shield passive melee only?

Supports pending of course but yeah best bet is to all in her.

doran shield works well against poke but in top lane she won't really have to deal with that since most people will just all in her and don't have the range to harass

phylol made a video about how if vayne is in a hard lane they should buy doran's shield to protect from poke. that is probably why this guy is talking about it

The point of a dorans should start in lane is that it will most likely give you better sustain in lane than the blade assuming you're getting poked and it's still similar if you aren't

I know a chally adc player and he starts dorans shield on hypercarries/champs with bad laning phases
