Will you inevitably change Katarina within the next few years unlike what you tried to do a little over a year ago?
Please keep in mind that I said years due to the fact that there are other champions that need an update (e.g; Yorick, Warwick, etc.).

Infinite Saught1 votesMany things. As of this patch, she's technically the hardest champion in League of Legends. BUT, she can be one of the easiest as well. Her combo is extremely straight forward, making her one of the easiest. She's can also be the hardest because she has to execute it under very certain circumstances. The first circumstance is if they're low. The second is if they're a squishy with the extension of if Kata is fed. The 3rd is if they're all locked down on another person, or if their cc ran out. The 4th is if they do not know how to deal with her. Elsewhere, she's totally useless.
She's the worst Assassin duelist; even Akali is better than her. Her basic combo will never kill anyone at full health if she's not fed, making her a terrible duelist. She also has a good 6 seconds before she can use it again. Another thing she can do is use her Ultimate immediately afterwards, but only if they haven't used their cc. Hypothetically speaking, her dueling power is higher in lower ELOs since people don't know how to deal with her properly. It falls off drastically as players get more and more skilled with their champions, and by extension, how they play against champions. That said, if Katarina tried to duel people in higher ELOs, she'd get fucked up by any conventional mid, top, jungle, or even a bot pick. So, she's forced to poke and try to execute them at low health.
She is one of the worst Feast or Famine champions; worse than pre-rework Fiora. If she doesn't get fed, she's not relevant anymore. ESPECIALLY when they start building mass amounts of health and MR. She will NOT get back up, even to clean up unless they're VERY low. Most assassins like Talon, Akali, and Zed can do something even if they're not fed; they have really high single target damage, and if they aren't successful, the damage they did to the enemy team or their target can help their team clean up. Locket is a very good item against her, despite her high scaling Ultimate. Leading to that...
Her ultimate damage is not all used, is inconsistent, and makes up more than half her overall damage (about 52%, to be exact). You almost NEVER use all of her Ultimate when engaging on an enemy team. It's easier to use your basic combo to clean up, rather than use your ultimate. She can only do this if any of the circumstances above are fulfilled. Other assassins have very consistent and more absolute damage. ie: if they miss, they miss. If they hit, all of their damage is going to punish in a near instance. The only close exception to this is Fiddlesticks. If her ultimate is interrupted, she's done. She can't do anything else except die when she got cc'd.
She has one of the worst engage and escape option for an Assassin if things were to go sour. Talon's ultimate makes him invisible, making his only real threat AOE Knockups. It's damage is instant, unlike Katarina. LeBlanc has some range and can disengage and engage freely. Zed is roughly the same principal as LeBlanc, except he has melee range but can disengage at farther distance than LeBlanc. Ahri has high mobility and 3 dashes. Akali is relatively similar to Talon due to them both having invisibility, and a blink to enemies only. Barring Hourglass, Guardian Angel, QSS, and flash (all of the other champions have equal access to these things) Katarina only has Shunpo. She actually has a few options here: Attempt to blow shit up with her combo and hope to get a reset, and either quickly clean up, or escape OR flash and not use E and hope QWR is enough to get a reset. And if it isn't, she can try to shunpo away if she didn't get melted or CC'd.
