What does Kindred explicitly affect?

Is Kindred's influence across all realms of the LoL multiverse (void, elsewhere), or is it exclusive to the universe of Runeterra?

I actually went digging, and it's heavily implied that Kindred is basically the personification of death, transcending culture/location. Although interestingly, in the God Fist Lee Sin special interactions, he refers to Kindred among others, e.g. (Tahm Kench, Thresh) as "lesser spirits" implying they are merely reflections or manifestations of collective thought. I'm not 100% sure on the God skin line canon in association with canon Runeterra.

Im pretty sure is not. Anyways, If i remember correctly, Riot has only said that Kindred is the personification of death in Runeterra in particular... not the rest of planets or dimensions.

Yeah, I think it's similar to how we see death as the skeletal figure with a scythe/winged being. Just in Runeterra it's a lamb and wolf. A kind of nice take on things as in our own culture a lamb is the sign of new life while a wolf is out to get it. It could be argued that in Runeterran culture while wolf takes your soul, lamb is there to comfort you as it does.

On the God skin line, think of the reference in this way. In some cultures, death or a similar like beings (Thanatos, Hel etc) are considered part of the pantheons. A god would considering themselves above such things as 'death' therefore God Fist Lee Sin see's death as just another spirit in his way.

I'd assume it's supposed to be everywhere if it's the essence of death. Though I haven't studied lore in depth so correct me if I'm wrong.

Runeterra is not a universe, it's a planet. Wouldn't bother me except you specify a multiverse as well.

And it's implied that Kindred is a universal concept, though since we only see them as Runeterra does, there's no way to know for sure.

Kindred is most likely a spirit not a concept..we have never seen them control the concept of death ......they just appear when someone that beleives on them is about to die...they dont cause death themselves and they are mere observers...the only thing they can do is warn someone about a lethal situation ..like they did with the actress( she chode the arrow and didnt took path that would lead her to the thiefs ). Also kindred is nowere near a universal level entity . Their existance is tied to their beleivers...we dont even know if most beings in valoran beleive in her , how we assume things about the entire planet or the universe? I honestly find kindred and bard to be the most overrated characters in lol lore....too much assumption with zero evidence...Bard for example is capable of travelling through dimmensions and creating small explosions...thats it , anything else is a wild assumption

yea you are right...i forgot about that part( i had the short story in mind) anyways even if you can make an argument about the biggest part of valoran , runeterra and the universe are a different story...And the fact remains ...kindred can not actually decide when a being will die they just know when and** where** that may happen!

Kindred do not affect something as far as we know. They are most likely a spirit like janna and feed on peoples beleif on them. People that beleive on kindred will see them before their death!Its not kindred that actualy kills them! You feel lamps arrow when you die peacefuly(heart attack anyone?)And wolfs chase when you die..not so peacefuly(being murdered by thiefs) .Much like janna they help their beleivers by warning them of their upcoming death(basicaly that is their ability as far as i understand......futere vision for death only :p)so they can procrastinate the inevitable..As far as raw power is concerned it totaly depends on the number of people that beleive on them..but do not expect too much remember they are a spirit ......an observer ofsomeones death , they can not manipulate death... at least as far as we know. Lastly kindred is tied to runnetera and specificaly to the places that their followers exist( lile janna is to zaun). I dont think that someone like swain will see kindred..
