Dodging needs to be actually punishable.

Now that autofill is relegating people into roles they aren't comfortable playing, and dodging has the high chance of causing you to be autofilled next champ select, dodging needs to have bigger punishments. As I'm typing this, I am JUST now getting into champion select for the 4th time. Nobody is afraid to dodge when they know that the dodge penalty is literally just 5-30 minutes of waiting for the next game. You're punishing players who don't dodge more than players who do

yeah I won't dodge when I have 2 people autofilling who don't know how to play their roles. or trolls who are gonna feed. or teemo jg. or unranks etc. not a fucking chance.

INDIVIDUAL dodges need to not be as punished.

REPEATED dodges need to be more heavily punished.

There should not be a "strategy" to dodging. You dodge trolls. You dodge known feeders. You dodge if you're a one-trick and your champ is banned (maybe?).

If you're dodging twice every 10-20 games, you're dodging WAY too much. Yet that's probably how often someone of these people dodge. I mean, you play 5-10 games a day and dodge once or twice a day because of the low penalty for those dodges?

Naw, this 24 hour reset time has to GO.

You should actually get a free dodge I feel like. Maybe once a month or once per 100 games. Store max of 2. You should then be punished. 6+ dodges in a month/100 games? Severe penalty somehow.

Also, dodging on autofill should guarantee you're autofilled every queue until you play it out. So people won't just dodge when they get filled support (although if someone else dodges then you're fine).

Exactly, hit areas that people exploit and they won't want to do it. But I'm getting dodges from people on my team when it's clear that there is no troll on our team, and usually it's the guy who got support. And I know who dodged because he doesn't show up in the next champ select when the 3 others do, and he isn't on the enemy team either.

Dodging penalties are fine as they are. You lose LP in rank and you have a sizable wait time in solo. If you increase the dodging penalties then you also remove the player's ability to get away from a toxic game before it actually starts.

That seems like a failure on Riot's part that running away from toxicity is the only way to deal with it.
