Starting to think it's time to change "if" to "when"

Malzahar will be reverted.

As this Gordian Knot of a rework just seems to take one step back, with every step forward.

Riot seems to also have some kind of aversion to touching his Q,E, & R. This will be the 8th adjustment to his kit since the rework, only 2 of which have affected his Q,E, or R, Which were a +20 mana cost to Q and a 5% total damage reduction to R, as part of the hotfix 5 days after the MYMU.

It took Kog'Maw 315 days. Malzahar is at 277. How long before the problems the reworked malz causes overcome the "problems" that old malz caused?

I'm not one to use pro play as an example, but i really do question these "problems" he caused... he hadn't seen pro-play since LCS season 1 ( http://lol.esportspedia.com/wiki/Season_2_World_Championship/Statistics/Champions ), prior to the rework. Outside of LCS he had an almost non-existent ban rate prior and a play rate averaging about 3% since 2014 ( http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/malzahar/all ).

The Malz remake still pisses me off to no end.

All the remake managed to do was change Malz from my second most played champ to another on the list of 'never touch this shit'.

Meh, I don't foresee them reverting him.

Me either, but not because it's the wrong decision, rather because they refuse to admit all they've done is make things worse. They will hide behind a "grass is greener" excuse until everyone has gotten fed up with the mistakes and left the game.

The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to riot and reverting malzahar is ghostcrawler jumping on youtube and saying "you think you do, but you don't". haha, obviously he'd never do that, but that just seems to be the tone of riot as a whole when it comes to wanting to turn the direction of the game back around.

I'd honestly just prefer them to rework him from scratch so that his theme stays intact and that they might be able to balance him better so that he's not "freelo" or worthless.
