Jungle has far too much impact on the game
I don't know anybody who's not a jungle main who doesn't believe this. This role is broken and has by far the lowest skill ceiling in the game.

Please explain...
nah, more like bot lane has too much impact. games are decided by who has the worse bot lane, thats a fact
and has by far the lowest skill ceiling in the game.
that's just so wrong I can't believe you actually meant it...Jungle is the most skill reliant role in the game when it comes to macro-play...you need to have an immense amount of game knowledge and decision making skills to reach that "lowest skill ceiling in the game"
Please tell me you're joking cuz I'm so sad you believe this
For such a role to have a large impact, why can't junglers reach the top of the solo queue ladder? It's literally because its very hard to differentiate 2 good junglers, while you can differentiate between a good/great mid/top laner. Jungle has obviously the most impactful role in the game, but the skill ceiling is so low that there is almost no difference between a good and great jungler. However, it is painfully obvious to see a bad and good jungler as opposed to other roles.
Riot has removed all decision making skills from jungling. Game knowledge is not skill when it can be learned within a few games. Anybody can learn a jungle path in literally a few games. This role is officially the most brain-dead role in the game, it is very hard to screw up badly. You don't have to worry about getting counter jungled and falling behind, you are always relevant as long as you gank and avoid the enemy jungler if hes ahead. Then farm your way back into the game and continue applying map pressure.
Meanwhile, in lanes, 1 kill is more than enough to utterly smash your opponent. You will instantly get turret dove 2 v 1 by enemy jungler and the only option is to literally leave the turret and fall way farther behind.

I agree with you (to a degree) for this part, as nearly every change to the jungle sense season 5 has dumbed it down or made it an easier role. You'll find me saying this in literally any post I've participated in that involves the state of the jungle. I hated the removal of smite buffs from camps, I hated plants, I hated the removal of small minions from buffs, I hated visible jungle timers to everyone. Almost every change they've made has been absolutely ridiculous imo
But I don't think it's dumbed it down enough where "game knowledge can be learned within a few games". I don't think the map awareness required or decision making skills can be simply learned in a short time.
Every macro-play orientated skill is more important when it comes to the jungle role (just as adc is the micro-play skills imo), and when you compare a trash jungler with a decent jungler you will notice a huge difference.
I see your point between a good jungler and a master jungler, but I really think that's because there really aren't great junglers anywhere below mid-high diamond. Very few people master macro-play before micro-play and small-time decision making, let alone the capability to practice those habits consistently throughout a game.
Imo, the skill ceiling of the jungle role is arguably the skill ceiling of the game in a sense.
To each their own though

lol stop playing like their team doesn't have a jungle, dying to gank and feeding the jungle is just as bad if not worse then feeding your lane. Stop laning like its 1 v 1, this game has no 1 v 1, unless you have complete vision and their are no globals on the map. Laning isn't for fighting its for farming.
Feeding the jungler is like feeding the team, because they're 100% going go carry that feed on.
Not in ARAM it isn't! [sg-ahri-2]
