it actually doesnt do that much damage and you only need to kill 3 tentacles for it to end. its only really scary if your 1 hit from dying to a tentacle... and even then its still insanely easy to dodge. everything else is just visual.

It happens time and time again with new champions offering something unique. Name any recent addition to the roster and somebody can easily point out at least one thing everyone complained about when the champion was released that the players learned how to deal with once they understood the champ.

BakedLotion1 votesBecause it has no counterplay. If she hits it, you're dead. Trying to stop her will just make you take more damage since shes hitting both you and your champion itself. If the buff goes off, hitting 3 tentacles isn't easy when shes in your face... That's 6 autos and running around the map finding tentacles to kill.
A bruiser that can 1v5 shouldn't have the damage of an assassin that is also tanky with heals. Or a pull like that stupid E. She should need to get into the fight. Not hit someone with a pull and kill them from range.

Faustavian1 votesImagine a thresh hook, that doesnt pull you, but instead automatically lets the ADC deal some damage to you nowhere near you. but hey, you can BREAK THE TETHER. break the tether = debuff which spawns tentacles aroun you, creating a gauntlet dont break = get hurt and still get the debuff.
