Could we get a new tenacity item?

This would be a tank item that scales with other tank stats, and shares a new unique passive with mercury's treads. (You can get both, but only receive 30% tenacity total) This way we'll be able to get ninja tabi, Boots of lucidity or even boots of swiftness without being too penalized by lack of tenacity. Due to it scaling off of tank stats and offering 0 offensive stats marksmen/mages will have little to no use for them.

Tenacious Cape/Grieves etc: item 2053 + item 1011 + 500 combine cost = 2700g

210 Health. (PH, This is a placeholder stat, they are all subject to change) +5% max health. (PH) 10 Armor. (PH) +8% Armor. (PH.) +150% Base health regen. Unique Passive - Point runner. Unique Passive - Tenacious wind. Grants 30% tenacity.

I personally think the +% stats will make it viable only on full tanks while not being beneficial to fighters or squishies in the slightest. This is just a general idea that I've come up with. I'd be perfectly happy to change it.

The main issue with tenacity items is more nobody wants to build them.

Cloak and Dagger Elise's Miracle Moonflair Spellblade

These 3 items were added when Tenacity became it's own unique stat rather than just being avalible in item 3111

Turned out most players that wanted Tenacity just grabbed it in boots, making the above 3 items the least purchased items in the game.

Considering item 3111 item 3102 item 3140 item 3139 exist, it also begs the question: why would any squishy would want to abuse a tanky tenacity item?

Tenacious Cape/Grieves etc: item 2053 + item 1011 + 500 combine cost = 2700g

Item is certainly built for tanks.

Seems a little too...generic tanky IMO though? The reason to purchase this iteration of your item is just because it offers every core tank stat. There's no niche this fills other than "tanky", putting it into a place where it would likely be required on every tank, tanky fighter, and tanky mage.

It wouldn't be an item gotten to deal with Tenacity and CC. In most cases it would be an item gotten on champions with decent innate resilience against CC due to Merc Treads granting tenacity much sooner.

First off Elise's Miracle doesn't appear to give tenacity, so that may be a mistake. And the reason no one builds moonflair is because it's incredibly niche as it only really benefits mage tanks, who are not exactly a first pick on definatetlynotdominion/TT. Second off, the items goal is to strictly benefit tanks by offering generic stats. I also designed it since the tank rework is scheduled, and adding an item like this would be extremely beneficial.

So why would marksmen want to abuse a tenacity item? item 3053 Was a fighter designed item that was easily abused due to it's really cheap stats and strong passive. Furthermore they've been aching for a tenacity item ever since zephyr was removed. Imagine though how strong 35% tenacity on a marksman really is. Marksmen and assassins are the roles most likely to abuse items, so I simply chose to cover the bases.

The 3 terrible tenacity items only existed in season 2 before they were removed. Elise and Moonflair were later added as new items, if you look at the patch notes you can see there past stats.

But those 3 items were literally the 3 least purchased items in the game.

Adding an item every tank gets 100% of the time wouldn't be extremely beneficial.

It would make tank builds extremely bland, removing build diversity, taking away tough choices and trade-offs in tank builds, and generally make people think "why are items even a thing? Why aren't these stats just given from leveling up?"

So why would marksmen want to abuse a tenacity item? item 3053 Was a fighter designed item that was easily abused due to it's really cheap stats and strong passive.

item 3111 is a thing, which makes that argument largely invalid.

AS bruisers have been wanting a Tenacity item after Zephyr's removal, marksman haven't.

If you get hit with CC as a marksman, Tenacity usually doesn't make much of a difference. They'll still be in 1 place long enough to eat an OHKO combo. item 3140 item 3139 item 3102 not being slowed down by CC is way more useful. item 3053 item 3156 Having a solid HP bump to survive an OHKO combo is also pretty useful.
