losing the game because a single person shuts off his brain or is acting a child is very demotivatin

I dont know when or even how this can be fixed but one person who just shuts off, mutes EVERYTHING, and ints or refuses to listen to the team is several times more toxic than any kind of verbal harassment you can think of. To lose a game solely because of that one person is the reason this game feels so dog shit to play right now. you have to play perfectly just to make up for the man child who has a kill participation of exactly two(2) with zero assists that afk split pushes for 38mins.

But you know something even worse than that? the guy that decides to wake up, get drunk or baked off weed, and immediately ques up for rank on a champion he/she has never played before. i was actually in a climbing mood today and motivated, but it only takes one clown and one game to completely shut this game off and not play it for several days at a time. please fix this, idc how but please fix it.

Yep. This is a huge problem with League of Legends.

ya if you cant even trust your own ALLIES then what is the point of this game being team oriented? just for the 0.2% of pro players that play it competitively i guess? Id much rather go back to season 3 and 4 where you can easily just 1v9 carry with a fiora or something. atleast back then even if your own allies were against you you could still win the game alone without them. mind aswell go back to that.

last game i tried my best to actually give away my kills to my teammates, put full trust into them. gigantic mistake apparently because they took my kindness AND the advantage i gave them and shat on it. But guess what? it was 100% MY FAULT for putting trust into TEAMMATES. The irony.

"let me just get this trist ahead so that she can have a easier time carrying later"

IM SO FUCKING BAKED GUYS Xddddd WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ints lead away

"let me help this yorick out so that jax doesnt do whatever he wants"

2/6/0 38 mins refuses to listen to anything and lets jax free lane.

why even try? i played so well to give us a huge early game advantage and out the window it goes.

Yep. The trolling is overwhelming. It is not an exaggeration to say that it happens at least 80% of games, and that is considering that I almost exclusively play with at least one other but normally with 3-4 person groups and it still happens with even the one person random at least 75% of the time.

And yet, the only punishments Riot issues are to players who play to win or based on chat-based nonsense.

yep huge problem but no one seems to actually care, especially not riot.

This happened to me in a ranked game today as well. Seems there are a lot of toxic children in ranked right now, sadly not sure if there is anything that can be done besides us taking the hit in our own rankings and reporting them for it. The mentality with people who do that just blows my mind. The worst part is half the time the point the fingers at the rest of the team blaming everyone else because they aren't getting carried. I hope Riot can find a way to truly punish these people for this kind of behavior besides just banning them when they can make a new account.

I know... :/ And for the edits.. Yeah... there is very little that angers me more in League than, "I'm drunk/high" while going 0/12/0 in the first 15 minutes then going afk. Or starting off a game and immediately saying, "End fast, I gotta leave for work in 15 minutes" when every single player of League of Legends that has played more than 4 games knows 15 minutes is an anomaly and not a normal time for the games.

The way you described it felt really identifiable...... up until the end.

Yes. The Inter/Afker/Refuse to follow advice does = more toxic than chat.

However... (as with everything)

Every person has a different interpretation of how other teammates are playing. For example, I jungle Ornn . Because of his reasonable lack of mobility, I often get low elo complaints from laners who are playing too aggro or pseudo lane countered who are begging for ganks (and then feed before I can get there). I get accused of "afk jungle farming" and "not doing my job."

The reality is..... as my farm nears a lane, I'm always looking for the opening. If I find it, I ping and try to set up the gank. If I don't find it, the area is horribly warded, and I don't control the enemy jungle (Part of Ornn/Nunu/Ivern's jungle role is to clear enemy jungle, set them back XP), I keep farming.

When these players who are griping at me for not being their guardian angels complain, I'm usually 2/0/3 or better. It just wasn't FOR THEM.

And, part of Ornn's whole play is a rush to level 14, so I kind of don't care about their complaints. If I get 3-4 drakes, am 10/3/11 and someone's still accusing me of "afking farming," I think the stats defy their claims.

But...... there are legitimate afk farmers.

And then there are the people who are farming to save a base..... that the team just keeps abandoning to fight somewhere else. They'll accuse you of afk farming then too. It's not like you're standing in between those siege minions and your nexus or anything.......

I've lot too many games today because one player on the team decides to solo-play and competely disregard any semblence of teamwork and strategy whatsoever.

It's really suffocating and Riot does nothing about it.

I really think reports should be harsher, and that we should have precise feedback as of what really happens to the player we reported.

I think the best thing you can do is play with a friend because you reduce the chances of a troll in your game by 25%
