Alright I made a thread saying Jhin isn't really like a sniper. Then people came to tell me that Caitlyn is the sniper I want, and Jhin is not supposed to be a

what? I never even considered Caitlyn as a sniper before. Functionally I like sniper playstyle, that is why my best ADC is Varus, but I need something more than that, he isn't even meant to be a full time sniper. Personally, I love this crazy artist, evil mastermind character, and I'm so hyped when I thought Jhin was also gonna be the sniper I want.

I'm still OKAY if he isn't meant to be a sniper, but if that's Caitlyn's job, why don't you give her a sniper range or playstyle? I mean you don't really snipe people from 650 range....Also, aside from "not meeting character of sniper", Caitlyn is sitting on a win ratio of under 50% against almost every single ADC, so how about buff her into a real sniper?

A real sniper character will never exist because it's too low interaction to promote healthy gameplay having that "sniping moment" is the best you'll get.

Someone with 1000 range and a settled 0.5 attack speed would satisfy me.

Yup I play all of them except for Nid. But where is the real sniper, like, the definition of sniper, the guy with a rifle?

It's not realistic to have a "real" sniper in this game, it would be extremely frustrating to play against a champion that can auto attack you from so far a distance that you have no way of doing anything. I mean, maybe making Cait have a longer range but she has to reload every shot like a bolt action rifle could work but that would make farming really difficult for her so they'd have to compensate the rest of her kit which would be extremely difficult to balance

I'm fine with that auto mechanic, simply let her Q damage not decay would provide enough waveclear.
