Give it time. Meddler said they know he's undertuned and they have ideas for him. The patch yesterday was likely pushed out by a different team than the one working on Veigar.

Well, by his words, they were confident this was the right direction from the get go, but if you watch the patch rundown, many people are reporting noticing cues that the developers are being sheepish, as if they know what they did was wrong and didn't want to do it.

It may have just been an issue of trying to fix the problem that was growing in the Korean pro scene where Veigar support was causing issues with the meta so they were trying to fix the meta problem ASAP and then fix him for his small userbase second.
