Not for it's power level or it's over powered or anything like that. It's toxic because in uncoordinated randoms kalista ults and ruins careful positioning and if you have any micro at all you'll click it by accident when it appears on the screen.
The ult is abysmal. It needs to function much better.
Lights And Magic3 votesThe most toxic thing about her ult is that she grabs you whenever she so wants, but you're the one that still controls you launching yourself into the enemy team. If you really don't think it's a good idea at the time, launch yourself away from them. That way, she gets dove on and you get away.
Professor Derpy1 votesI'm failing to understand how intended mechanics of an ultimate is considered toxic? Hell, I don't understand the obsession with any little thing in League of Legends at this point that somebody doesn't like is TOXIC.
Kalista just came out not too long ago. It's pretty understandable that a champion with mechanics that are higher on the skill cap isn't gonna get picked up easily by random players who just bought her.

I ended up swearing in Rammus because I wasn't going to use TF or Viktor, and while I did well when I went Morg support for a Kalista I was unsure about throwing her in there as well. I felt really bad any time I didn't ping before ulted (but it was so fast paced sometimes I was like oh hell smashes R button) and then other times (the time 200hp Rammus was caught under the enemy tower) being able to click a fast R felt super good because although it was disruptive I knew it saved him.
I just wish there was more general warning and it was easier to decide where the oathsworn was going.
Meserion1 votesits really the fact you can't stop her oath, thus you can't stop her from picking you which is a problem. That is where the bulk of the tooxicity lies. However if Kalista misplays her ult she can get you killed or deny you of a kill.
