Should bloodthirster be more of an attack speed item

There is really a need for more AD+attack speed items other than botrk, and as one of the trademark life steal item that is something that more belongs to an AD+attack speed item while there are already many big pure AD items that are for AD casters/assassins. It may even make botrk easier to balance if their was another viable option that fills the similar stat binding it has, since there are champs who like AD and attack speed but could care very little if at all about crit who would appreciate the options.
