More Aurelion Sol Nerfs?!

Inexcusable, Riot. Currently on the PBE: Aurelion Sol Celestial Expansion (W) cooldown increased to 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 from 6/5/4/3/2 Voice of Light (R) damage lowered to 150/250/350 from 200/300/400

Seriously, no. You suck. Stop nerfing champs that reward skillful but usually not-as-flashy play because you don't think they're going to 'look cool' in the LCS. Sol did NOT deserve the Q nerf you gave him and he definitely doesn't deserve another flat-out nerf to his WEAKEST POINT, champions trying to close into melee range. Hitting W is Sol's only answer to champions closing to melee range, this nerf unduly punishes active use of the toggle. And as for shaving damage off of his ult without compensation buffs elsewhere.. Disgusting. Aurelion Sol is SUPPOSED to be a high skill floor champion that packs a lot of damaging power in his zones of control. You're taking away a HEFTY chunk of his control at max rank of W and leaving him even more in need of the ult you just nerfed.

FIX THIS. I agree with moving some of Sol's power out of burst- he is a zone control, sustained damage mage. Reduce his R to 100/200/300, even. But on the flipside, reduce its cooldown or FIX HIS Q. Sol's Q interacts horribly with all forms of blocks- Yasuo's wind wall merely needs to be clipped, and if any part of the animation touches Braum's shield it dissipates without applying the stun. Aside from those annoying cases, sometimes it will detonate, deal damage, and proc Spellthief's Edge (and upgrades) without applying its stun. It also has about a 50/50 chance to disappear if Sol dies while nurturing it, and STILL can't be double tapped. Fuck 'this is intended', it sucks. Stop gutting the champ I've now put nearly 150 games into so your esports can look cool and fix him.

His winrate top is insane because he counters most toplaners. His winrate mid is pretty close to 50.

55.77% is not "pretty close" to 50. It's the second highest of any mid laner with the only mid laner beating him being the hilariously broken Malzahar. And Malzahar was hotfixed so Aurelion Sol is probably left at #1 for winrate in mid lane.

he has >2% play rate for top jungle and mid combined...

Pretty sure only mains are playing Sol and the win rate is misleading

Players with 1-5 games played on Aurelion Sol already average a winrate over 50% and Aurelion Sol mains actually do achieve a much higher rate of success of up to 65%.

A champion that scales so well with experience shouldn't start out giving inexperienced players free wins.

Or that he is just simple to master and has low skill cap. We are talking plat plus players here, a low skill cap is going to be easy to master.

You are also assuming that they have no normal or PBE experience with the champ. Data dump sites do not use non rank games for data.

a 65% success rate at any level of experience is completely insane.

How does a nerf on Sol make Esports look cool?

If Aurelion Sol is useless, LCS players will not pick him. The only part of Sol that looks 'cool' is his EQ combo. His most effective source of damage, his W, is not entertaining to watch- Riot doesn't want it in their esports.
