Why don't you see more Kleptomancy Tristana?

Leagueofgraphs.com lists a Kleptomancy setup as Tristana's highest win rate rune setup. Also, it lists it as the least popular setup.

When I checked a few other websites (lolalytics, champion.gg, etc.) many of them don't even list Kleptomancy Tristana as a thing.

I tried it out, and it works wonderfully. You can proc Kleptomancy with your Q or your E (or your W if you've got the testicular fortitude) and if you combine that with a targon's + refillable setup, you're pretty much golden to scale into the mid/late game where you're actually useful.

Still does the same insane damage to turrets.

Still has the same ridiculous wave clear.

Still murders champions with ease.

Only difference is that you get about 2k more gold throughout the game, and your lane phase is basically free.

Smallest sample size = inaccurate statistics.

That may be (or rather, that is)

But it doesn't really answer my question.

Is there something inherently BAD about the build?

Or is there really some irrefutable tradeoff between this and other rune paths?

I must refer you to my original question...

She can't reliably activate Klepto because her spells aren't spammable. Q is on a hefty coodown, and W and E and R are impractical for trying to trip it as well. She's an auto attack ADC, not a caster ADC, which is why it doesn't work effectively on her. Ezreal and Miss Fortune, who seem to have the best luck with it, are caster ADCs who have spammable on-hit spells that act as autoattacks.

I disagree. I've tried it 2-3 times (I know that's not much) and I've been up 2k+ gold on literally the whole map by the end of each game.

It might not be the OP lane phase gold injection that something like an Ezreal or a GP gets, but over the course of a game, it adds up fairly nicely.

That may be the case, but that is how normal champions use the skill. It's not as effective as it could be, and she benefits much harder from Press the Attack due to her natural affinity for using E->Q->Auto x3->W. With that combo, she naturally stacks PTA with her already natural combo routine.

The issue with it on Trist is with a more Meta Keystone the match would be over before Klepto actually gives her enough gold to replace the free AS or extra 12%+ burst, or the extra sustain.
