just played a game where my vi bought a duskblade..... is this at all useful on her because i was convinced that black cleaver was much better on her and this vi was terrible but thats just me.

Ok sure but why1 votesDepends if they're full tank or full squishy, tbh
I'd go with the Cleaver either way, because it gives her health, movement speed, cdr, armour pen, and everything else a girl obsessed with punching could ask for on Christmas.
