Anyone else feel like Jhin's ult may get nerfed soon

I just feel like Jhin's ult is just so loaded he generally doesn't have to be anywhere near a fight to contribute as much as other ADCs. I we may see the slow dropped to 60% and the base damage dropped from 40/100/160->40/90/140. I have seen way too many fights started by Jhin just tapping someone with a single bullet or sitting in the back just ulting for the first half of the fight.

I really feel like Riot is going to encourage him to fight closer up. And I don't feel that range is the actual problem to why his ult is used the way it is.

I know Jhin is supposed to be the long range ADC, but the way he plays right now encourages him to actually not be anywhere near the fight to do well. And as an ADC he should have to be in the fight to be putting out DPS. And nerfing his utility and a little damage discourages using it as an engage or super poke tool.

His ultimate is based off % missing health though, so if he opens up with it, it's sort of a waste and more for the slow if anything. Jhin's a bit possibly too strong still at the moment, but his ultimate isn't the issue.

late game it dosnt matter if he opens or ends with it. if he hits 4 of his bullets on one person they will die. late game jhins usually open with ulti to allow siege and for the squishies on enemy team to have to back off.

If someone gets hit by all four bullets in lategame, they're bad and deserved to die.

Bodyblocking is a thing, believe it or not. And squishies should never be in the front lines in the first place.

The complaint isn't about getting tagged by four shots. It's that he is often either engaging or sitting a mile back and ulting and putting out decent damage in a team fight while not actually being there. An ADC with damage out the ass shouldn't be engage from the back of his team. And that is the true problem. Ashe at least has a slow ult that is easily dodged and even so still doesn't do nearly as much damage.

Jhin literally outclasses Ashe as a utility ADC while putting out higher damage. The only thing he doesn't do as well is kite MS heavy champs.

It's not hard to dodge Jhin's ultimate either. And it doesn't have AoE.

Ashe has slow on every auto as well as her Q which empowers said autos and her W. Her ult can also be used point-blank. Ashe's ult isn't for damage, it's for the incredibly long stun. Ashe is also far better at vision control.

And gee, I wonder why a lategame carry does decent damage in lategame.

the slow is way too strong imo

if you don't have a dash it's obnoxiously hard to escape it once you get tagged

The point is it finishes off fleeing squishy/low health targets.

The way you're supposed to play around it is by having your tanks just bodyblock it, or alternatively, just dodging them in the first place altogether by moving unpredictably, or third option, just leaving the cone if possible.

Debateably, it depends entirely on how well the Jhin player predicts your movements, the hitbox on each bullet is pretty narrow from my experience both dodging and firing them, so even a SLIGHT step to the side can avoid it if you know where he's going to fire.

Dodging them when not movement impaired is obviously simple.

Doesn't his ult do ridiculously low damage to someone at high health? Even moreso if its a front liner

It has 20% scaling. So if Jhin has 600 AD. It's 160+120+DFT and then it also slows you. And the damage goes up 2.5% for missing 1% hp. Get hit once with a max hp of 3k. You are at about 90% so he gets a 25% bonus. 350. Drops you to about 75%. Now it's a 62.5% damage bonus. 455. This ignoring that DFT is ticking on you for about 60-80 damage each hit. And this also assumes you are the only one hitting them.

Now this ignore his other teammates having CC to hold you down or help pick you off even more if you even get hit 1 time. 80% slow is huge considering it explodes in an AoE so it can hit multiple targets.

Jhin's ult deals damage based on % missing health so against enemies with full or almost full health it is completely useless, his auto's would do more damage

Still isn't the point. His team is engaging on the first hit then he is doing pretty much full damage one every hit after. Stop thinking like this is a binary game. Jesus. I have addressed this in 2 other posts already.
