Ranked Has Become a Huge Issue...

So I'm playing some more Ranked like I always do in my low elo of silver 4... as usual I have flamers and people who want to quit pre-10 minutes.... After losing a couple I came to the conclusion that ranked is a lot harder than it was before. I hit a huge lose streak this past month. I have worked on improving my play and am currently a better top laner than I was when I was Silver 1 last season (No I didnt duoq), however, I still happen to be lower and couldn't climb out. I figured this wouldn't be an issue considering I climbed last time, but I find it increasingly hard to carry low elo as a tank, as most of my team does poorly, but when I play a carry champion I end up losing due to no one else playing a tank. This has become my number 1 issue as Ranked has become a stressful thing that I feel like I can't do anything to win. I genuinely think that Solo Queue is no longer Solo Queue, but rather 5 random players and whoever can win early + have better team will win. No matter how I do, the game is all based on teamfights and who got more out the early game. If I lose lane, I almost always lose that game. I feel there is too much pressure early game. It's almost like Poppy and Jayce are my only 2 options if I want to win. What are everyone else's thoughts on ranked so far???
