Playing as Darius vs Gnar just makes me want to shoot myself

It doesn't matter if I get in range of him, he will slow me, speed himself up, and hop away while I'm at his mercy.

It doesn't matter that he builds only damage, his mega form makes him tankier than me.

It doesn't matter if I destroy him in lane and make him 0-4 with 40 less cs than me, he will STILL have a larger presence in a teamfight because AOE knock back that's a stun, another stun, and another slow to ensure we are locked down for more than 2 seconds.

What do I bring on the table as Darius? Damage and kill secures.

Gnar? Ranged harass, CC out the ass, and able to perform well even if behind in lane.

Please tell me how Gnar is balanced when he can be tankier than a tank, have the damage of a Bruiser, and more CC than some tanks?

Yes he is...the way I build him, anyway. The way I was told to build him. It accentuates the best parts of his kit. His w really does enough damage that you don't need to build any damage.

Just another example of Riot literally OVERLOADING base stats to new champions to make them viable and played. They would never do this to a support or adc... but gnar is somehow okay. hes a problem but I want him to wait in line for these guys to get nerfed first Zed Fizz Yasuo

All of the new champs have been overloaded to shit. It's clear that Riot doesn't think 4 moveslots qualifies as a kit anymore.

Have you seen all of the new champions that are being released? All of the older champions soon will not be able to actually keep up with all of this, well i don't really know what to name it. I mean, some champions will be able to keep up only because they have an extremely overloaded kit, such as Thresh and Lee for example.
