Assassins are by far the hardest champions to play in the game.

Yet they're almost in a completely unviable state.

The advent broken champions like TahmKench, and the new champ Kindred having abilities that completely nullify burst that require absolutely no skill to use is just the final nail in the coffin.

It was already bad enough that mages currently possess the most broken item to ever exist in a video game item 3157, they have done nothing but nerf champions like Khazix Talon Zed Rengar into near unviability. Riot needs to massively buff assassins as the work it takes to become proficient with them is poorly rewarded, when one can simply play Ahri and effortlessy 100-0 people while missing half her abilities, on top of having free homegaurds on Q and 3 flashes on a 60 second cooldown.

Anyone who disagrees is likely a mage main that is salty they got massively outplayed by an enemy Talon.

Yes Talon who literally just smashes keys is hard to play. Akali who can be played by a blind cripple and my personal favorite Rengar who got "reworked" for one shotting from stealth and he is still capable of doing it to this day with 0 mechanical demand.

So much skill.

I would have possibly agreed with you til your last sentence. Due to that filth "Ohh if you disagree you must be x and suck" crap is old and so pathetic, what could have been an actual respectable thread now can't be taken serious anymore.

I for one am glad Assassins aren't constantly played anymore, I myself like being able to take Ziggs or Morgana mid without being considered a troll since Assassins go hurrr durr ill 100-0 you by facerolling my keyboard and if I am losing I will use my get out of jail free card hurr durr.

Kha is still a thing since I see him probably every 10 or so games, not every game sure but he is still played, Talon I will admit he doesn't show anymore but not really sure why, he can fight against most mages fairly easily and unlike BS champs like Zed, his is due to actual outplaying. Speaking of Zed. I am glad he is literally garbage now that they made his ult no longer a get out of jail free card, at least back when he was overbearing, another common sight...Leblanc at least had to do something and still usually suffered damage if not nearly die in the process depending who she was jumping on. Zed facerolls then presses R without taking a single hit and the enemy explodes. He is a no skill champ since I being someone that hates assassins played him once during that OP time when he was free and even with no knowledge was able to carry a game with ease....yeah so hard to play.

And btw Rengar is still a very sought after jungler.

Yeah the sheer amount of skill required to play assassins is just just simply too demanding.

I had the same thought today, but I didn't feel like expressing it because all the community does is bitch about getting outplayed.

First though, you shouldn't just say whoever disagrees meaning they're either handicapped or having an unreasonable excuse; that's not fair for people to give opinions.

Besides from that, I do agree that assassins need much more calculation and caution on making decisions in the current shifting meta. I do feel for assassins main dealing with thersh's lanturns, tahm's devour or kindred's blessing ground (especially those who want to learn new assassins at this current time), but on the other hand, the meta's shifting so that champs have never been taken seriously, now can be considered for competitive play. New tools and tanks are introduced that chip in to negate knockout burst from assassins. Though, we start to see more mages actually come out of collecting dust and more on serious competitive plays (not all of them tho, sadly).

they just require skill. dont kid yourself. assasins aren't hard at all. Annie Akali Katarina Leblanc heres a list of champions that can 0-100 with only 1 main item, and require much lesser skill than most.
