lee is kind of in a bad spot right now (barely) but since they are nerfing armour next patch there is absolutely NO reason to buff his ult

Lee was never in a bad spot.

He wasn't popular in the tank meta because Sej/Gragas were faceroll easy and op. He's ridiculously overloaded like always and still overpowered when played by good players.

Lee is in a bad spot and gets a massive buff but Skarner, a hideously underpowered champ gets nothing but a derpy minigame passive that gives his enemy free gold if he doesn't invade them early and often? Yeah... sounds about right.

We can eat a dick, as far as they care. Skarner now has no passive, in or out of the jungle, barring a tiny, tiny, tiny circle in the jungle. At least make that shit global.

I think, with all these troll champs their making (New Fiora, New Skarner, Tahm, and Bard), not to mention them gutting fan favorites, that Riot WANTS to die at this point.

They're only buffing LCS top picks too. It's the crazy minigame interactions that I'm bothered with the most. I was playing League over Dota/Heroes of the Storm ONLY BECAUSE allies had to ASK to interact with you, like Thresh. Now with things like Bard, Tahm, Skarner's new passive, you gotta be telepathic to play with them or they help the enemy team on accident (or on purpose) repeatedly.

I take offense to calling Bard and Tahm troll champs. Any champion is a "troll" champ. It is just easier to troll with these two champions because you have a team effecting ability. I admit, Skarner is a "troll" pick with these changes because just picking him is a disadvantage to your team. But Bard and Tahm have redeeming qualities if you yourself aren't trolling. Bard has a ton of utility. Tahm is a very protective champion. Skarner... Gives free gold and loses objective control. So... Yeh.

Oh, no, I agree. But that's what I meant by "troll champ." Bard support is amazing, and WAY more lethal than he has any right to be. Tahm...well, I love him, his personality, everything, but I just can't get a handle on him yet. But they, along with Kalista, have FAR more troll potential than any other champ. That's all I mean.

2 points start in your own jungle start pre-capped and you don't get gold for them the first time around. 2 points start in the river un-capped at the start of the game. the last 2 points spawn directly between Krugs ---- Red Buff and Wolves --- Blue buff on the enemy side at 3 minutes or so, just about the time you finish Red or Blue.

You don't start with money unless you run to river and stand still in a tiny circle at the time of spawning. It's lvl 1 team fight bait. Super hard lvl 1 team fight bait.

And good luck getting to the enemy jungle faster then the enemy jungler. They are going to spawn literally on his face. It's basically 30 gold or a you got invaded by Skarner at half health and got first blood and 15 or 30 gold. Since the shrines don't spawn in the enemy jungle for a bit, he's not going to do their red first or something, he can barely solo it without the shrine.

I think the point is to make the control of the jungle more important for his team. I wouldn't play him in Solo queue that's for sure but with a solid 5's team this should be a buff more than it is a nerf.

Except he can't take control of the enemy jungle because Skarner is trash, and now he's even worse. He loses 1v1 to every meta jungler in the game.

Fixed it for you.

Skarner was Friender tier. Then they nerfed him down to nothing, and then they nuked his lore. Then the deigned to bring him back up to good, only to do this again.

I remember when he got reworked and was good for a SINGLE PATCH then was immediately gutted.

Meanwhile champs like Lucian remained broken for the entirety of Season 4 autowinning bot lane because you couldn't trade with him. Yeah Riot is clearly biased towards certain champs cough LeeSin Ahri Nidalee

Dude, take that Nidalee out of there. They nerfed her ass just this patch, for no god damn reason. And she was fine before. Her spears took skill, and good planning to do good damage.

Skarner right now is definitely not trash by any means but on the pbe it seems he might just be weaker but trash no way. Its way too early to see what he is capable of. You ever tried to duel a skarner as a jungler? Skarner is one of the best duelist in the jungle and can be build many ways devourer, cinderhulk, hell even runeglaive and I bet warrior could work on him. Items like item 3800 make his chase and pick potential with ult so much better. Don't say a champion is trash if you haven't played it yourself.

Chespin, when you main a champ, you know. You get the feel for them. Taking away Skarners passive, putting his objectives in the enemy jungle, forcing the rest of the team to jungle for him, and taking away his attack speed buffs, not to mention plummeting his speed and armor, is all very, very, VERY bad. They have put Skarner in the garbage can. And then thrown the Garbage can at the head of every Skarner main.

I main eve, and no this will not put your champion in the trash can, in fact it'll probably be a net power buff and maybe you'd realize that if you first focused on all of the positive changes which include the stun change, total hp shield change, and total and bonus ad addition on Q.

Add to that these shrines will invalidate people trying to invade skarner, if the invade goes bad nobody will outrun the 425 movespeed skarner unless they flash.

Duh, he's a tank. Granted he has a bunch of damage too, but its mostly late-game damage. Tanks aren't meant to 1v1.

This is patently false. Skarner is very good at dueling once he has a couple items. But I wouldn't want to take him vs Elise now or after the rework.

I don't know how strong Skarner is in the jungle, but I play him top. And his dueling is superb. If I can smash Riven, Gnar, Darious, and many other popular top lane bullies, I'm sure he can duel in the jungle.

I wish they would just leave him alone. He is awesome currently this change makes him awful. I get they want to change things up but for the love of god do not destroy a champion that is already loved just to make a stupid gimmick and change his identity. It's another Karma debacle all over again; going to piss off a lot of people.

If they really want to make some dumb mini game do it on a brand new champ, DO NOT DESTROY one many people love.

I honestly wish they would stop reworking characters all together, as every rework changes the core identity of a character too drastically. Changes sure, like teemos upcoming ult change is great, but completely shifting the play style is just stupid.

I ran the numbers and this is a pretty hefty nerf to his early jungling. But he could get some interesting late game potential if he doesn't fall behind.
