A Jhin Misinterpretation
Believe it or not, Jhin's early game isn't complete and udder garbage. It isn't even remotely bad. It is just HARD. What do I mean by hard? I mean it's hard to play him early game. Why? He is very, VERY methodical and has to be VERY precise with his movements. When his W and E are easily avoided, his basic attacks are gated, and his Q can not be considered the best poke at times, he ends having to perform very, very precisely.
Saying he has a bad early game is wrong, because that is saying he will under perform in a duel where both sides are evenly matched and both sides perform at the same skill level to where both make the same or no mistakes. No, if that is true, then he does NOT have a bad early game. He just has a HARD early game because his skill floor for performing without his extreme crits that come late game is very, very high.
To put it simply, Jhin's power does not scale as dramatically as people say it does throughout the game (not to say he isn't much more powerful late game than early game since all Marksman are), instead his skill floor DECREASES as the game progresses. Come late game, he gradually gains more luxury to perform not quite as precise or methodical as he did early game. Every shot counts early game, but you have some room for error come late game basically.
You know who has a bad early game? Kog'Maw, Kog has a bad early game. Someone like Vayne or Lucian can almost always out perform a Kog early game. However, Jhin can perform on an equal level to Lucian or Vayne early game, it just takes much more thinking and skill to do.
TL;DR Jhin has a hard early game, not a bad early game. His late game IS much stronger than his early game, but that isn't to say his early game is bad.
