How do I carry as yorick

So I've been playing yorick in ranked. I do good in lane and in fact all 3 games I won lane until I got bombarded with ganks like I'd get tower then everything goes to shit. First game, I got a zactop and it was pretty easy.i out farmed him easily and got first tower and a kill on udyr from his first gank because it was a tower dive. Meanwhile 10 minutes in, in my lane the dancing KFC guy appears and supplies me with KFC while I just smash minions while my team just gets destroyed. I realize they need me so I opt for a teamfight build. Then udyr nonstop games me and that's how I fed that game and this was after I got the tower so nothing I can do there. Game 2. I'm against a gangplank. Again same concept then yasuo comes top with rift herald and that's where I get destroyed. They got all 3 towers just like that. He was 3/0 so not too crazy. Game 3 I get Darius top and that's one of my best matchups. Again I won lane but my team was bad. i had the only positive kda. Again I had to go for a teamfight build. All 3 games I had a massive cs lead. I'd have 75 cs by 10 minutes. Still room for improvement but my cs lead was anywhere form 15-50 in lane so in theory, I should be destroying. So what do I do where my team just feeds. Do I just splitpush or do I fight. How do I carry these scrubs.

Short answer : it depend on your team if it holding or losing or winning lane. If they holding/winning , you can carry easy as yorick since you make alot of problem in top, if they losing sadly you can't win at all cause if they losing hard they can be killed in 3v4 easily while you will get against 2 players who will kill you.

Is this Bronze/Silver?

For real, if you just keep pushing top (wisely) you will carry the game. I know it sucks if you team throws in mid or something, but I have lost many games to Yoricks who even lost lane but just stay top forever while ignored and take inhib. Bronze/Silver have no idea how to handle Yorick/answer splitpush (this includes me). As long as noone is fed you should be able to push.

Maybe watch some toplaner streams? I am sure there isa Yorick OTP you could watch. Or just any toplaner who splitpushes a lot to see when he pushes hard and when he backs off. I understand wanting to teamfight. And I have lost to some Yoricks who leave Maiden top and group mid. But I think that unless you are fed, you should just stay top (if you are fed you can do real damage in teamfight). But even if you are fed, you should just stay top.

only things I found on brief google https://www.twitch.tv/kostickatv (some orick) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkk9h4q6iXcrCUfKjkpuPVQ/videos (apparently some yorick.. but not english.. not even sure if LoL lol...)

Never seems to work on my team. Whenever I try to splitpush toplane, I draw 3-4 enemies to my lane. That would be okay if my team decides to take objectives elsewhere on the map. But no, instead they decide to take that moment to recall, or do raptors. Teammates also never help out with vision.

Yea, teams don't play smart. You have to play for yourself sometimes. I quit toplane, but that is why I said maybe some streams would help. If you don't see three enemies on the map, don't push past Krugs. Once three show up push push more. Then back off when they head towards you. It may be slow but eventually you will apply pressure to help your team (if all 4 don't die). If all 4 do die, at least hopefully you cn get an inhib/turret.

Whether or not you can carry on him is heavily dependant on how your team looks compared to the enemies.

Yorick is the splitpushing god, and can drop towers faster then you can say september elev- But the thing about spllitting is that in order for it to work, it requires your team to be able to pressure another objective, because the core aspect of splitting is to put the enemy team in a lose-lose situation. They can either go for the splitpusher while the rest of his team get something else, or go for the team and let you destroy turrets.

But if your team cant out 4v5 them or at least stall them out, you cant splitpush efficiently or you risk getting either picked off or your team getting rekt before your even in a position to pressure it in the first place

It was easier to carry on Yorick while splitpush was a thing. Now its rarely any toplaner will opt into split pushing, not only people realized how to better deal with it, its also not as efficient as grouping due to the game being in a more teamfight oriented state at the moment.

I know I'm way late, but as a Yorick player in bronze currently I've got a 70+% win rate because I exercise map awareness and communicate with my team to take objectives when I inevitably draw half the team. I deliberately put myself in a position where I am susceptible to getting ganged up on, and hold my own as best as I can, so they can take objectives. Basically make yourseld the biggest, most difficult to kill distraction as possible, and coordinate with your team to let you show yourself in lane before they make their moves, so the enemy is divided on where they need to go.

My normal build is triforce, sterak's/maw, and straight defensive. And I still pick up a portal, because with good vision in the enemy team's jungle the passive is great for escaping, and the portal itself helps your already ridiculous splitting potential.

If you play your hand correctly you can focus objectives down so well you carry from behind. Trust me, I've done it before, and gotten majority honor as the 4/13 Yorick who took 8 towers and an inhib while the rest of your team took Baron and had the numbers advantage.

Lastly, know that some games are just unwinnable, and that's okay. Don't flame, stay focused, and learn to love the camp. Yorick is incredibly hard to deal with unless you know how to keep him shut down.
