Why do they keep choosing nidalee in the lcs?
She gets destroyed every time.

strong early, strong farming (->reliability) -> strong late.
TiP also runs a poke/siege comp and she fits in very well, nothing wrong with picking her here - just not the best execution so far.

Nidalee has a strong early, but there are better champions that are also as strong or stronger early while not being as much of a liability for their team. Examples include Lee Sin and Elise.
she allows for much better pathing early than those two if executed well, and in a pokesetup like TiP run outscales them aswell...she´s just really hard to execute well (though as that game has shown - she can win anyway).
Nid does very well in solo q, where they practice. I guess the players seem to think those results will transition into professional play. I haven't seen a nid pick that was impressive yet.
Poke squad
shes always been a good pick in competitive, shes mobile (way too much), she pokes (way too much) she heal and steroid the adc, she had ''free'' vision with her traps, she can assassinate AND her stupid cougar Q outsmite so she can steal objectives
i think nidalee is pretty op right now with runic echos if u land those javelins of hers.
Good Siege late, High-burst Damage with any Accuracy, A competent team can help overcome her innate squishiness.
I dunno, why did they keep picking Lucian after his nerfs and before preseason despite his abysmal winrate in pro games? There's always that one champion that pros keep playing long after they should have stopped.
her late game is terrible.. you dont ever wanna go in and pounce during a team fight and once your combos done you better have 45 percent CDR or your dead
