Remake should not require a vote, it should be automatic

I just had what I considered before an impossible event:

A teammate doesn't connect. Remake vote option pops up, so I start the vote. All 3 of my ally teammates vote no without saying a word, so the game doesn't get remade.

Of course, we got crushed. No one even explained to me why they voted no.

I'm still just in disbelief that anyone would vote no on a remake vote, much less not one single ally voting yes so it could pass. (Btw, our 5th reconnected later in the game, went 0-11).

Was a fun match? Why is there an option for a vote on this?
