Can we please get more counter play to assassins?

Enemy team ran two assassins and both got fed early on diving bottom lane. We played defensively to reach late game, but then the fed assassins just split 1/3/1.

If one person defends against an assassin, they die, because there's zero counter play to a 1v1 with a fed assassin. If two people defend against a single assassin, one lane can't be defended. There is literally no way to win this.

This is really fucking stupid. There needs to be more counter play.

The same can be said for any fed bruiser or even a lot of tank champions as well. Assassins are more than perfectly fine the way they are with champions like riven, irelia, wukong, diana, camille, fiora, vi, kayle et all bruisers in the game. Can't 1 v 1 them and they will just take tower.
