I've been trying out Cull as sort of a mini-Avarice, and I can't decide if I like it. The item costs 450g, then gives you 400g for getting 100 CS, then sells for 180g; overall, you profit 130g. I think Cull first is pretty garbo, since you're missing so many combat stats that DBlade would've given you, but I kind of like getting Cull on first back.
What do you guys think?

xl Kirito lx2 votesPeople are looking at the item the wrong way, that it's a 130g net gain. Think of it as a mini-longsword. +5ad, +3 hp on hit for 50g. That sells for a profit of 130g. It's not amazing, but it's cheap stats and doesn't distract from a gold heavy build, like Kog'maw.
Champion Skin1 votesWhat? Why wouldn't you just buy a longsword then the next item you buy will cost 350 less gold (If it builds from longsword) and you also get 10 AD and 450 hp from potions or refillable potions which essentially give you 250 hp extra per back

Dreadlocks1 votesIts pretty garbage imho, the 130g profit is nothing when you couldve gotten that gold with the kill potential on D-blade, also you dont have the extra 80HP so you more vulnerable to ganks.

look at it this way...theres like an 90% chance that someone in your lane is goign to die (over 300 gold) before you profit from cull....either you or the opponent. which is it going to be?
cull drops 450 gold to give you pretty much zero power. you make it much mroe likely that you dont get the kill you need or that you get killed yourself
