How do you counter j4?
Whenever I'm vs a j4 they are usually a smurf and much better than me. What ways can I make laning easier without standing at turret the whole time?

What do you usually play against them?
Pretty much just don't fight him. He will outdamage you. He'll use the E Q combo to engage on you and knock you up. After he does this, put whatever cc you have on him and run. Build early armor items, like Sunfire Cape, to lower his damage.
Play jax, if you get through the early you should be able to outdamage him and easily 1v1 him. His kit is kinda burst imo
Just don't be shit. Jarvan requires to be pretty close to you compared to a lot of junglers (Zac is a notable example) so if you just keep your distance and hug the sides you ward, you'll be fine. Just be aware of common pathing and the times the jungler is likely to show up and you'll be alright; any change in behavior or when you hit 4 and 7 as a solo laner (as that's typically when a jungler hits 3 and 6 and will look to gank due to powerspikes) play safely and ward up.
With a little skill, any of these guys can beat him in lane. Just learn you champs, dont pick 10 different champs to play and play random champs every other game cause you saw someone on youtube play it, and feel like it.
Pick a main, and play strictly that one champion, with only having 1 back up. maybe two even once you get good with one.

Top, and i have went from s3-g3 in the last few days, look at my history, nearly all wins, cause i spam the same champions and dont let up. Thats the best way to climb. Play the same champ, same role, make sure you ward, dont do stupid trades., and watch the mini map.
What i mean by, dont do stupid trades, if he hits you, and if you have to walk past his minions to hit him, and you take minion aggro, and take even more damage, thats a bad trade. If you have to tower dive him to kill him, and die yourself, that is NOT worth. Its better to let him go B at 50 hp, and you sit there and farm more and more, and tp out when your done, come back with more farm and xp than him, and keep the pressure on him, its not that hard.
