utility mastery to increase ward limit

title says it all. a mastery that increases the ward limit to 4, and a 2nd mastery after it to allow you to place a 2nd pink. i saw this idea in another post, thought i'd spread it

EDIT: someone in the comments suggested something better: upgrading item 2049 to item 2045 could increase the ward limit, currently the extra hp and ward stack are not cost efficient anyway.

No. Because that just pigeonholes supports into having to take those mastery selections, and spend that extra 100-200g a back and delay core items even longer.

Want more vision? Help by supporting the team by placing some yourself regardless of what position you are playing. Vision was changed for a reason, it is a team objective.

I'm not sure how this pigeonholes supports when it's technically an optional mastery.

To Really Understand that. We would need to know if having that extra Vision, would change the game up to the point where it would be a necessity. And if that is the case, the Support pool will be limited to those who actually take High levels in the Utility tree. (this would Probably exclude many Tank supports.)

if its too cost efficient or too powerful, it might. As a support, its amazing when your adc buys a pink - it allows you to place a forward pink to play even more aggressively along with a defensive pink. having 2 means that you can basically deny vision in every bush bot (1 in tri, 1 in river, 1 in forward bush, red trinket the back bush).

im not saying its OP or anything, as it would need to be tested. But i can see that when I play support, its too useful of a mastery not to take.

i know, i remember why the limit was made 1 year ago. it was so the supports didnt have to spend all their money on wards and could build some actual items. and although i agree with it, man i really miss lighting up the whole map...

I would like a passive on sighstone. Currently there is no real advantage on upgrading from item 2049 to item 2045 . The extra stack and hp isnt worthy the 800 gold. They could add a passive to it that extends the stacks to 6 and extends the allowable wards to 4. Now I will have an initiative to but it.

Unfortunetly they are not changing the masteries for season 5.

The problem now is people still don't want to place wards. They expect the support to still place the wards. In fact the support often gets accused of not having wards [laced, when a fight was just lost or in a spot where a team member got caught, sometimes when the wards just ended during or after the fight.

Solo Q is toxic by nature, in team ups you can get by this but solo Q, someone is always out there blaming someone else whether they are right or not.

Just by pointing out someones mistakes you may get a stfu or some other derogatory comment.
