How To Fix Klepto Ezreal --> Turn Ezreal's Q Into An Ability with NO AUTO ATTACK.

Gangplank's Q should also be treated in the same fashion.

After all, it's not really fair for non-melee abilities to be treated like auto attacks in the first place. It's pretty blatantly obvious that it's the truth, and that's why there are only a few champions with that broken mechanic in their kits.

Kleptomancy isn't broken, and it makes no sense why the rune would be nurfed over a couple champions with abnormal mechanics in their kits. Kleptomancy is simply revealing that it's finally time to put that dinosaur of a mechanic, with ranged abilities dealing auto attacks, into the coffin for good.

The problem that makes is their ability's are counted as AAs. and with that item 3078 is such a core item on them for things like poke, and farming. removing so much damage from them would make them needed for a damage buff most likely, but you can't make the change either way as one of the ways GP was made to play is to use sheen with his Q's last hitting passive,so he can easily CS for gold/serpents. a singular point and click damage passive won't do as much with 100+ damage removed,so you would probably need 2-3 items to one shot casters.

The real way to fix klepto, 30 sec CD between procs

Miss Fortune also has a Q that triggers auto attack on hit effects. But the real thing that needs to happen is a cool down on Kleptomania. Even a 10-15s CD would fix it.

No, there's a difference between applying on-hit effects and triggering an auto attack. For example: Ekko's Ekko E counts an auto attack.

Here's the list of champions with abilities that are triggered by, or count as, an auto attack.

Blitzcrank E, Camille Q, Ekko E, Ezreal's Q, Fizz Q, Gangplank's Q, Garen's Q, Leona Q, Nasus Q, Renekton W, Shyvana's Q counts as two auto attacks, Trundle Q, Vi E, Volibear Q, Wukong Q, Xin Q, Yasuo Q,

Then there are abilities that apply on-hit effects and don't count as an auto attack.. Miss Fortune is one of them. Her Q does no auto attack damage but it can proc things like lifesteal. Basically, it's just like the old Jungle item Sated Devourer's Phantom Hit passive (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Sated_Devourer). The ability lands and it can trigger the Blade of the Ruined King's percent damage, lifesteal, the slow from Frozen Mallet, Sheen, and passives from champions (like Yi's passive, Riven's passive, etc..) but there is no damage dealt from your champions AD.

When you look at the list of champions with TRUE auto attack on-hit abilities, ALL OF THEM are MELEE... with Ezreal being the sole exception. It's really not healthy for a ranged champion to have such a mechanic because they can already attack from range with their auto attacks.

Why would you give a ranged champion two ways to auto attack?

That's really the question that has to be asked. Every year Riot has to balance Ezreal out because he's always up there with Caitlyn on the most broken ranged champion listings. Last year he finally was looking fairly balanced until players figured out he could clear the Jungle. This year, not only can he Jungle, but now he can play in any lane because of the new Kleptomancy rune.

Kleptomancy is only strong on Ezreal because he has not just one, but TWO auto attacks. This means he can proc the rune TWO TIMES in a row if he lands his Q on you and is in auto attack range. That's something that only the list of champions above are capable of, and out of that list.. Ezreal is realistically the only one of those champions who can do it safely.. being that all of them are melee except him.

People can down vote all they want, all that it shows is they clearly don't have half a brain to figure this out.
