What does rank mean anymore?

How do you determine someones skill by their rank? With dynamic queue what is diamond worth anymore? What is plat worth? What is gold worth? Nothing. If a silver gets boosted to diamond, or plat they suddenly think they are gods just cause they know the right people. Are they silvers that are actually good or silvers that just got boosted? Its hard to know.

People say bronze is god awful, yet if you watch a ton of diamond games without knowing that it actually is a diamond game you may not think they are diamonds. Their are ton of diamond players that play like silvers or bronzes, you see mistakes even in LCS games that are just beyond stupid to the point no one knows why they even did it.

There are some silvers that can play perfectly fine, with their only fault being they have a team mind. They play as a team, and make plays based on them having a team. Yet they dont, this game has very little "team" in it. The challenger players arent challenger cause they play as a team, they climbed all the ranks by being selfish and thinking only of themself, which is why a challenger solo queue team wouldnt stand a chance against a good LCS team cause they all 5 play as a team. In solo queue their is no team.

So what does rank mean? You are set back and stuck in low elo simply cause you think like a team player while 4 other players are afk not following up on a single play you make. Silvers can make god like plays that look like they are horrible simply cause their team doesnt follow up. You can also see diamonds make god awful plays that really are awful. So how do you judge based on rank when their are trash players at all elos and great players at all elos?
